Great Shoot

The shoot went well on the weekend of the 28th March. I got a good interview with a horse owner and trainer who grew up with animals. She is an animal lover and she has more pets than I thought. I literally lost count. She even started taking care of stray dogs because of her love for animals.
During the shoot I was getting a lot of wind on the shot gun and so I took the cylinder card board from the empty roll of paper towel from home as I planned for this. I was also equiped with scotch tape. It worked but not the way I hoped it would.
I started composing a song for the ending of the documentary and it is almost completed. I wanted just one or two instruments in this song but I'm not very good with playing instruments.
I just know a few basics on keyboard and recorder so I need to sit and work with a musician this weekend to work on it. I know in my head I clearly heard a guitar so that will definitely be one of the instruments if not the only one. I'm also working on a melody for the beginning of the documentary which I believe i have a good start on. It is a bit haunting and I love that. I am very self consciencious of my singing but I might have to put that aside if I want this done in time and the way I want it.
I booked equipment for last weekend but I didn't have an interview and Dr. Bridgelal was under the weather so I knew he would not be on call then I decided to leave the equipment for someone who may need it more than I would. I was just going to shoot some cut aways so I concentrated on the music instead.
